Recommendations from CFHC's Health Advisory Committee

Below are recommendations that have been recently approved by the California Family Health Council Inc.’s Health Advisory Committee (HCAC), Medical Director, and CFHC’s clinician staff.  Additional input regarding the diagnosis of vaginitis was provided by Anita Nelson, MD..

The recommendations address two on-going findings noted during site evaluations:

(1) Clinically inadequate diagnosis of vaginal infections.
(2) Incomplete medical histories.

We are confident that if your agency is in need of addressing these issues, you will share the recommendations with your clinical staff. We are also confident that agencies will modify their quality assurance activities to monitor compliance with the recommendations.
