Announcing: Video at Sexetc.org!

The Network for Family Life Education at Rutgers University is proud to present our first-ever video featuring our Teen Editorial Staff at www.Sexetc.org.

Why We Need Honest Sex Ed
By the Sex, Etc. Editorial Board, 2005-2006
"I want to stop being tricked. I want to be told the truth. All of it." Watch the video and find out how Sex, Etc. editors explain the need for honest sex ed in their lives.

Along with the release of this video we are also expanding the mechanisms for teens to become part of the national dialogue on sex ed curriculums. Please forward this email to adults or young people who may be interested in learning more, sharing their opinion or strategies for improving sex ed. Let them know that through this new Advocacy Center at Sexetc.org they can:

  • Watch the video at www.Sexetc.org.
  • Chat with the Teen Editorial Board about the video and their ideas on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd from 8-9pm EST.
  • Take the Sex Ed Survey and tell us what you want in your sex ed class.
  • Talk about the video on our Boards. Add your opinion on sex ed classes and your ideas about how to create change.

Future videos will feature youth activists explaining their passion for improving sexual health education for young people and sharing their strategies for change. If you would like to recommend a youth activist, project or organization to be filmed and/or interviewed by our Teen Board Members, please contact Stacie Steinbock at stacies@rci.rutgers.edu.
