Get More Training on Health Literacy

Want to learn more about meeting the needs of clients with low health literacy?  Check out Unified Health Communication 101, a free online training course from the US HRSA.

The course is designed for anyone who provides health services and information.  It includes modules on:

  • Health Communication
  • Health Literacy
  • Cultural Competency
  • Limited English Proficiency

The course takes about 5 hours and includes interactive exercises, video vignettes, and knowledge checks.  Participants can also receive course credit (CEU/CE, CHES, CME, CNE).
